Dosing Conveyor (DoC).

What’s the benefit?

  • Specifically designed to transport high volumes of sample material.
  • Can be engaged in any of the steps of the sampling process.
  • The DoC can handle a higher volume of sample material compared to a Vibration Feeder (VF).

What does it do?

The Dosing Conveyor (DoC) is specially designed to transport high volumes of sample material and can be engaged in any of the steps of the sampling process.

Contrary to a standard conveyor belt, the DoC has a design that ensures a minimum of spillage and correct dosing for instance into a crusher or a divider.

The DoC can also be used to transport the rejected material back to the mainstream.

How does it do it?

The DoC has an inlet where the material enters, it falls to the rubber belt and then the material is transported to the outlet.

The unit is driven by a geared motor, directly connected to the drive pulley.

Both the drive- and turn pulleys are suspended from ball bearings that are fastened to a sturdy frame design. The pulleys are crowned in order to keep the belt centered. The turn pulley also acts as a tension roller. The speed of the material flow is adjustable.
