M&W JAWO Sampling has supplied two cross stream samplers to Widnes Biomass Combined Heat and Power Plant (BWSC), for sampling of wood chips from waste wood.

The Widnes Biomass Plant is a combined 20.2 MW electric, 7.8 MW thermal power plant located in Widnes, Cheshire, England, co-owned by Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor (BWSC). It began operation in 2017 and has a capacity of 145,000 tonnes-per-year of waste wood biomass, supplying approximately 48,000 homes with electricity.
