Lula Norte is a subfield of Lula (Formerly known as Tupi) located in the Santos Basin, Brazil, at a depth of 2,150m. The Lula Field is one of the largest deep-water fields in the world.
The platform consists of 9 production wells and began production in 2010 after being discovered in 2006. The Lula Norte field accounts for 30 % of Brazil’s oil and gas production.
Owners are Petrobras, Shell Brasil Petróleo and Petrogal Brasil.
