ENGINEERING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT

From Concept Development to Final Implementation

Our mechanical and electrical engineers perform design and automation tasks with solutions tailored to your specifications, from concept development to final implementation.

If the engineering work is part of a larger project that, for example, requires machining, metal fabrication, assembly, and/or automation – and you wish to delegate the responsibility and risk for this – we are happy to take on the complete task as your Full-Service Provider, with all professional competencies consolidated at a single location.

Our team of mechanical engineers works closely with our electrical engineers to deliver complete solutions, including electrical panels, automation (PLC), installation, and testing.

Examples of Engineering Work

HPLC Columns

M&W Production develops, among other things, liquid chromatography columns used for chemical analysis in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries for the separation, identification, and quantification of components in liquid mixtures.

We have been developing HPLC columns since the 1980s and are capable of developing prototype solutions and manufacturing large-scale applications.

Our PLC columns can be produced for different pressure ranges: Low pressure (0-10 bar), medium pressure (10-30 bar), and high pressure (30-100 bar).

Areas of Work Include:

Mechanical Design and Engineering:

3D modeling, preparation of detailed construction and production drawings, as well as CAD design.

Electrical Design:

Electrical diagrams, PLC programming, control systems, and functional manuals.

Production Preparation:

Development of production documentation, internal work instructions, and quality control plans to ensure the manufacturing process adheres to your design requirements.

Material Selection and Testing:

Selection of the appropriate material given requirements for strength, weight, corrosion resistance, and ensuring material tests such as hardness testing, tensile testing, and impact testing.

Pressure testing, vacuum testing, and leak testing on vessels, pipes, and other components to ensure they can withstand the required working pressure.

Factory Acceptance Test (FAT):

Execution of FAT to ensure the finished product meets your specified requirements before delivery. This includes testing functionality, safety, and performance, as well as preparing the relevant documentation.

Prototype Development and Testing:

Development and manufacturing of prototypes based on your ideas, and conducting functional tests and performance evaluations in close collaboration with you before larger-scale production.
