Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) – Aluminium Smelter – Calcined Petroleum Coke – 2022 .
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), one of the world’s largest aluminimum smelters, commissioned a primary sampler for the purpose of representative sampling of calcined petroleum coke used in the process of aluminium melting.
This was undertaken together with Mo.Tri.Dal of Italy to ensure that the solution would fit entirely into the existing plant as well as ensuring Alba’s ability to obtain automatic and representative samples of calcined petroleum coke withouth excessive manual labor.
Alba produces more than 1.6 million metric tonnes of aluminium per annum and represents approx. 12% of the GDP of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
