The system is based on burst discs which can easily be installed and replaced at sea. It is significantly more accurate and safe-to-use than other comparable systems such as traditional PRVs and is type-approved by DNV. the APRS has been used world-wide for 1,000+ well stimulation jobs on- and offshore.
