The Nova field (formerly known as Skarfjell) is located in the north eastern part of the Norwegian North Sea. The field was discovered in 2012 and plans for development was proposed in 2018. Production is expected to commence in 2021 and it is estimated to produce 60-140 million barrels of oil during its development.

Nova will be made as a tie-back to the Gjøa Platform. It will have 3 productions wells with the possibility of adding 4 more in the future.

Owners are Wintershall Norge, Capricorn Norge, Spirit Energy, Edison Norge and DEA Norge.
