Chemours – Customized vibration conveyor for Fluoropolymer – 2018 .
M&W was contacted by Chemours’ consulting engineering company, Jacobs Engineering, who were searching for a company that could design and manufacture a 100% customized vibration conveyor for polymer products.
In addition to material transport the conveyor had to perform a swiveling motion to secure an evenly distribution of the material to the receiving place in a very confined space. M&W visited the factory near Rotterdam and offered a solution that could fulfill the requirements. The solution was accepted, and the swiveling vibration conveyor was manufactured, installed and commissioned.
Chemours is a chemical company that was created as a spin-off from DuPont in 2015. They produce a variety of products used in a many different industries. At their production facility in the Netherlands they make fluoropolymer, which was discovered by DuPont in 1938.
